Dr. Ying-Moh Liu, Ph.D. is an optical system design expert witness from California. He completed his B.S. in 1978 from National Chiao Tung University and his M.S. in 1983 from the University of New Mexico. He then earned his Ph.D. in 1987 from the University of Arizona.

Currently, Dr. Liu is the Senior Optical Engineer at GoPro and is an optical design consultant at Opt-IT. Prior to this, he was the Optical Manufacturing Engineer at Tamarack Scientific and the Senior Manager of Process Engineering & Metrology at Newport Corp. Further before that, he was the Director of Optical Engineering at Ostendo Technologies and the VP of Optics at Lightmaster Systems.

Dr. Liu has additional knowledge in metrology, optics, precision engineering, photonics, optical engineering, optical fiber and manufracturing.
