Dr. William B. Young, M.D., F.A.H.S., F.A.A.N., F.A.N.A., is a highly experienced neurologist and headache medicine specialist based at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He earned his M.D. from The Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1985, following a B.A. in Chemistry from Haverford College in 1981. Dr. Young completed his medical internship and neurology residency at prestigious institutions, including St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Tufts University, and The New England Medical Center. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and has additional subspecialty certification in headache medicine from the United Council for Neurologic Subspecialties.  

Dr. Young has held academic positions at Jefferson Medical College since 1997, currently serving as a Professor of Neurology. He has a long history of clinical leadership, including serving as Director and Co-Director of the Inpatient Program at the Jefferson Headache Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Young has also been an attending neurologist at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and other medical centers, contributing significantly to the field of neurology and headache management. His expertise is widely recognized, with multiple certifications, academic appointments, and leadership roles that reflect his extensive knowledge and dedication to advancing the field.
