William L. Nellis

Mr. William L. Nellis L.F.A.C.H.E., B.S. is a consultant expert witness at WLN & Associates, LLC from Woodstock, CT. He is specialized for Hospital Admin. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Business Education from University of California at Los Angeles in 1954. Bill's career in hospitals began in Boston at Beth Israel Hospital, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital, where he was assigned the responsibility to establish and operate a management system that encompassed all areas of the hospital that provided patient care services. Next, he served as the CEO and President of Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, a 300-bed community hospital north of Boston. Then he became the CEO and administrator of Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia - where research, complex tertiary services where provided in such areas as organ and bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, cardiac surgery, neonatology, and radiation therapy. He also provides consulting services to hospitals, medical product and equipment manufacturers, and with regard to the legal community - in areas specifically involving disputes related to hospital corporate liability Currently, he is a Managing Partner at Nellis Tobin and Mooney which focuses on hospital operational issues involving patient care, quality and safety along with managing hospital risk. Dr. Nellis is a member of The American College of Healthcare Executives Chicago, Illinois.
