William Charles Murphy

Dr. William Charles Murphy D.O. is a physical medicine & rehabilitation from Pennsylvania. He also has expertise in physical therapy, osteopathic medicine and electromyography. He has medical practitioner’s license from the state of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. He also has physical therapist license from the states of Pennsylvania and Delaware. He is also certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He completed his schooling in 1975 from the Monsignor Bonner High School in Pennsylvania. He then completed his B.S. in Physical Therapy in 1979 from the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently completed his Graduate Studies in Physical Therapy in 1984 from the Temple University. He then earned his Doctor of Osteopathy in 1990 from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his internship in Medicine in 1991 and his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 1993 from the Hospital of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Graduate Hospital at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served as the Chief Resident from 1993 to 1994 at the Graduate Hospital. Currently, Dr. Murphy is a physician at the Main Line Health. He also has medical staff appointments at St. Agnes Medical Center, Riddle Memorial Hospital, Underwood Memorial Hospital and the Medical Center of Delaware. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the American Medical Association.
