Dr. Wilfredo Antonio Nieves-Colomer, M.D., F.A.C.E.P., is a distinguished emergency medicine specialist with extensive experience in clinical practice, education, and medical leadership. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree at Ponce School of Medicine in 1986, followed by General Surgery Internship and PGY 2 at the University of Puerto Rico. He furthered his training with an Emergency Medicine Residency at the University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Nieves-Colomer is board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Quality Assurance & Utilization, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. He holds several certifications, including Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) as an instructor, and is licensed by the Puerto Rico Board of Medical Examiners.
