Uri Elkayam

Prof. Uri Elkayam M.D. is an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology and Internal Medicine expert witness from California. He has an active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of California. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He finished his schooling from the Mikve-Israel in Chulon, Israel, and then completed his B.S. in Biology in 1970 from the University of Vienna at Vienna, Austria, and then earned his M.D., C.M in 1973 from the Sackler School of Medicine, Tel Aviv University at Tel-Aviv, Israel. He then pursued his internship from Ichilov Hospital of Sourasky Medical Center Tel-Aviv in Israel. He pursued his residency in Internal Medicine under Ichilov Hospital of Sourasky Medical Center Tel-Aviv in Israel. He has a fellowship in Cardiology from the Hospital of Albert Einstein under the College of Medicine in New York and also from Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California. Currently, Dr. Elkayam is a Professor of Medicine under the University of Southern California at Los Angeles, California. Also, he has presently attached with a Director of cardiology high-risk pregnancy service. He is a member of Cardiology Staff from High-Risk Cardiology in Los Angeles. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians, a member of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American College of Cardiology. He also has several publications and honors to his credit. He has citizenship in the United States. His birthplace is Petach Tikva in Israel.
