Dr. Timothy D. Carter, M.D. is a distinguished neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist with extensive training and experience in his field. He earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in 1987 and completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Carilion Clinic-Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. Dr. Carter pursued his residency in Neurology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), finishing in 1991, and completed a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology there in 1992. He is board certified in Neurology and Clinical Neurophysiology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
