Dr. Thomas Anastasios Scilaris, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.O.S. also known as Tom Scilaris, is an orthopedic surgery expert witness from New York. He has physician’s licenses from the states of New York and New Jersey and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Scilaris completed his B.S. in Biology in 1987 from the University of Richmond and then earned his M.S. in Physiology in 1989 and his M.D. in 1993 from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He further completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital and then completed his residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He also completed his fellowship from the Perth Orthopaedics Sports Medicine. Currently, Dr. Scilaris is an Attending Physician in the Department of Orthopedics at Beth Israel Medical Center and at the Mount Sinai Hospital of Queens. He also maintains his private practice at Orthopaedic Specialists of Greater New York.
