Thomas Michael Hyde

Dr. Thomas Michael Hyde, M.D., Ph.D. is a neurology expert witness from Maryland. He also has expertise in behavioral neurology, biology, cognitive science and mental health. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Maryland and California. He is also certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his B.A. in 1978 from the Department of Biology of College of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania and then earned his M.D. in 1984 from the School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also completed his Ph.D. in Graduate Group in Anatomy in 1984 from the Faculty of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed internship in General Medicine in 1985 and residency in Neurology in 1987 from the Department of Medicine of the Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Department of Neurology of the Stanford University Medical Center at Stanford, California. He also served as Chief Resident from 1987 to 1988 at the Department of Neurology of the Stanford University Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Hyde is the Adjunct Professor in School of Life Sciences at the Peking University at Beijing, China. He is also the Associate Professor in Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine at Baltimore, Maryland and the Associate Professor of Department of Neurology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine at Baltimore, Maryland. He is also the Chief Medical Officer at the Lieber Institute for Brain Development at Baltimore, Maryland. He also has numerous publications to his credit. He is married and resides in Maryland.
