He currently serves as the Medical Director of a 140-bed detention facility, where he oversees all aspects of inmate medical care, including nursing, medication management, and laboratory services. Dr. Fowlkes has substantial experience in addiction treatment, having co-owned and directed a 76-bed CARF-accredited residential and outpatient detox center.
