He then completed his B.A. in Biology in 1974 from the Drake University at Des Moines, Iowa and then earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in 1978 from the University Of Iowa College Of Medicine at Iowa City, Iowa. He further completed externship in Anatomic Pathology in 1976 and residency in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology in 1981 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics of Department of Pathology and the Institute of Pathology of University Hospitals of Cleveland at Cleveland, Ohio respectively. He also completed fellowship in Forensic Pathology in 1982 from the Office of Chief Medical Examiner at Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He completed his second residency in Clinical Pathology in 1983 from the Royal C. Johnson Veterans Administration Hospital at Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Currently, Dr. Bennett is the Adjunct Professor of Science at the Rocky Mountain College at Billings, Montana and a Forensic Pathologist at the Forensic Medicine and Pathology, PLLC. He also serves as Forensic Pathologist for the Coroners and families of Montana and Wyoming. He is also the Adjunct Professor of Pathology at the Lagos State University at Lagos, Nigeria. He also has many publications to his credit. He resides in Wyoming. He has four children, one of whom is deceased.com
