Dr. Day volunteers his time as president of the Head and Neck Cancer Alliance, Inc., and in 1998 started the inaugural international Oral and Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Week (OHANCAW). He is certified by American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery in Otolaryngology. Dr. Day is affiliated with East Cooper Medical Center and MUSC Health-University Medical Center.
