She serves the role of Medical Director at University of Kentucky Neurology Clinic since 2006 and the role of Director at University of Kentucky Headache and Pain Clinic since 2005. She was a former staff neurologist in Kaiser Permanent Medical Center San Francisco, California and Cleveland Veterans Administration. She is a member of American Academy of Neurology, American Medical Association, Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, American Headache Society, National Headache Foundation and National Spine Network. She was the recipient of America's Top Doctors; Cleveland Magazine in the years 2002 and 2003. She is a member of American Heart Association "Go Red for Women" Committee. She served in the Editorial Board of American Headache Society, "Headache Profiles". She is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Montana and Oregon.
