Dr. Sunil Savari Rayan M.D., F.A.C.S. is a vascular surgery expert witness from California. He has an active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of California. He is certified by the American Board of Vascular Surgery. He finished his Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry in 1991 from the University of California at Berkeley, California. He completed his Medical Science Track Program from the in 1992 from the Hahnemann University Graduate School of Pennsylvania and then earned his medical degree in 1996 of the Hahnemann University School of Medicine at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then pursued his internship in General Surgery and residency of the Department of Surgery from the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship in 2004 at the Division of Vascular Surgery from the Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. Currently, Dr. Rayan is the Scripps Cardiovascular Insitute Advisory Board and XiMED Board of Directors at the Scripps Memorial Hospital of La Jolla. He is working with Scripps Memorial Hospital in Encinitas as a staff of Section Chief Vascular Surgery, Co-Chair Endovascular Committee, Medical Executive Committee, Co-Medical Director Surgical Services, Physician Leadership Cabinet and a Connect the Docs Board of Directors. He has also currently membership with Pomerado Hospital at Poway, California, and the Tri-City Hospital at Oceanside, California. He is a fellow member of the American College of Surgeons. He also has several publications to his credit.
