Dr. Steven W. Running, Ph.D., is a Regents Professor Emeritus and Director Emeritus of the Numerical Terradynamic Simulation Group at the University of Montana. Dr. Running earned his Ph.D. in Forest Ecophysiology from Colorado State University in 1979, his M.S. in Forest Management in 1973, and his B.S. in Botany in 1972, both from Oregon State University. He has also held visiting professorships at Stanford University and the University of Cambridge.
