Dr. Steven Alan Ringer, M.D., Ph.D. is a neonatal-perinatal medicine expert witness from New Hampshire. He has active medical practitioner’s license from the state of New Hampshire. He is also certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He completed his B.A. in Chemistry/Biochemistry, Magna cum laude in 1974 from the Brandeis University and then earned his M.D. and Ph.D. in 1982 from the Case Western Reserve University. He completed residency in Pediatrics in 1985 from the Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital/Cleveland Metropolitan General Hospital. He also completed fellowship in 1988 from the Beth Israel Deaconess, Medical Center, Brigham & Women's Hospital, Children's Hospital at Boston, Massachusetts. Currently, Dr. Ringer is a Section Chief of Neonatology at the Children's Hospital at Dartmouth and Associate Professor in Pediatrics at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Formerly, he served as Medical Director of Neonatal Respiratory Therapy at the Brigham & Women's Hospital. He also worked at the Boston Children's Hospital and the Harvard Medical School. He also has many publications to his credit. He resides at New Hampshire.org
