He completed his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics in 1997 from Benedictine University-IIT and then completed his Associates of Applied Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology in 2008 from the College of Du Page. He then earned his Master of Aeronautical Science in 2009 from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
