Dr. Steven Douglas McCarus Sr., M.D. is an obstetrics and gynecology expert witness from Florida. He has active medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of Florida, Nevada and Texas. He completed his B.A., Cum Laude in 1977 from the West Virginia University at Morgantown, West Virginia and then earned his Medical Doctor Degree in 1982 from the Marshall University School of Medicine at Huntington, West Virginia. He then completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1985 from the Greater Baltimore Medical Center at Towson, Maryland. He also served as the Chief Resident from 1985 to 1986 at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Currently, Dr. McCarus is the Chief of the Division of Gynecologic Surgery and the Director of Center for Pelvic Health at the Florida Hospital Celebration Health at Orlando, Florida. He is also the Affiliate Assistant Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of South Florida at Tampa, Florida. He is a Gynecologist at the Advent Health. He has several publications to his credit.
