He holds a B.S. in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University, an M.B.A. in Marketing and Finance from Roosevelt University, and completed doctoral coursework in International Marketing and Logistics at Michigan State University. Anthony has taught marketing and packaging-related courses at the University of Detroit and Michigan State University, covering topics such as package design, materials handling, and distribution.

He has authored more than 200 articles in trade journals and served as a contributing editor to multiple industry publications. In addition, he has written and contributed to reference works on packaging and logistics. His professional certifications include CPP, CMM, CPM, CPIC, and CM.
