Stephen Marshall Smith

Dr. Stephen Marshall Smith, M.D. is an infectious disease expert witness from New Jersey. He also has expertise in internal medicine, AIDS and HIV. He has a medical practitioner’s license from the state of New Jersey and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his A.B. in 1985 from the Duke University and then earned his M.D. in 1989 from the Yale University School of Medicine. He also completed his residency from the University of Virginia at Charlottesville, Virginia and the St. Michael’s Medical Center at Newark, New Jersey. He also served as a medical staff fellow at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases at Bethesda, Maryland. Currently, Dr. Smith is the Assistant Professor at the Department of Preventive Medicine and Community Health of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is also the Executive Director and Founder of the Smith Center for Infectious Diseases and Urban Health at East Orange, New Jersey and a physician at the ID Care at Hillsborough, New Jersey. He is also affiliated to the East Orange General Hospital at East Orange, the Saint Barnabas Medical Center at Livingston and the Saint Michael’s Medical Center at Newark. He also has several publications and two patents to his credit.
