Dr. Stephen D. Fantone, Ph.D. is an engineering and optical design expert witness from Massachusetts. He earned his S.B. in 1974 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in 1979 from the University of Rochester.
Currently, Dr. Fantone is the President and CEO of Optikos Corporation and the Chair of the Fannie and John Hertz Foundation. Additionally, he is the Chairman Emeritus at Pioneer Institute for Public Policy Research and the Senior Lecturer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Prior to this, he was the President at Optica and further before that, he was the Director at Rofin-Sinar and Zygo Corporation.
Dr. Fantone has additional knowledge in thermal imaging, photonics, optical engineering, imaging device, image processing and metrology.
