Board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology since 1977, Dr. Borowsky is also subspecialty-certified in Pain Medicine, with recertification in 2002.

Over the course of his career, he has held various prominent roles, including staff anesthesiologist and pain unit director at Surgicenter in Phoenix, Arizona, where he has worked since 1980. He also served as the founder and director of the Pain Clinic at Brockton Hospital and held teaching positions at Harvard Medical School and the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Dr. Borowsky has made significant contributions to pain management and anesthesiology, and he continues to share his expertise as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona and as Chairman of the Multidisciplinary Pain Committee at the Phoenix VA Hospital.
