Dr. Sheryl Martin-Schild, M.D., Ph.D., FANA, FAHA, is a neurology expert from Louisiana. She completed her medical education at Tulane University School of Medicine. Later, she also completed a combined internal medicine and neurology residency at Tulane, followed by fellowship training in vascular neurology at the University of Texas Health Science Center. Tulane University awarded her a PhD in neuroscience.
Currently, Dr. Martin-Schild is the president and CEO of Dr. Brain, Inc. She is the Neurology and Stroke Medical Director for Touro Infirmary and New Orleans East Hospital. She also serves as the Statewide Stroke Medical Director for the Louisiana Emergency Response Network. She served as an Associate Professor of Neurology and Director of the Stroke Program at Tulane University School of Medicine.
She is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, in adult neurology and vascular neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, and in neurocritical care and neuroimaging by the United Council of Neurologic Sub-Specialties.
