Dr. Shahrokh Rouhani is a civil engineer and statistician from Atlanta, Georgia. He is specialist in environmental statistics, geostatistics, and data analysis. He has authored numerous technical publications, including American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidance, and US Navy guidance documents. He has successfully directed a large number of projects involving complex data analysis efforts. Currently he is serving as President and Founding Partner at NewFields Atlanta, Georgia since 1995. He also served as an adjunct professor for the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology. He also serves as an editorial board member for Environmental Forensics of the Association for Environmental Health and Sciences. He earned his B.S. in civil engineering and B.A. in Economics, from University of California in the year 1978 and he has completed his M.S. and Ph.D. in environmental sciences from Harvard University in the year 1983.
