Dr. Seth A. Cohen, M.D., M.Sc., is a distinguished expert in infectious diseases, epidemiology, and infection control, with extensive experience in both clinical care and medical leadership. He completed his M.D. at Emory University School of Medicine in 2009 and a Master of Science in Epidemiology from the University of Washington in 2016. Dr. Cohen has specialized training in internal medicine, infectious diseases, and travel medicine, having completed his residency at the University of California, San Francisco, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Washington. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Cohen serves as the Medical Director for Infection Control and Employee Health at the University of Washington Medical Center (UWMC), where he also holds the position of Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. He has been involved in clinical practice as an attending physician at Northwest Hospital, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and the University of Washington Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Cohen has contributed significantly to research as an affiliate investigator at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
