Dr. Donahue is a member of several associations like American Academy of Ophthalmology, Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, Nashville Academy of Ophthalmology, Tennessee Academy of Pediatrics, Cumberland Pediatric Foundation, Tennessee Academy of Ophthalmology, North American Neuro-Ophthalmology Society, American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus, Pediatric Eye Disease Investigator Group etc. Dr. Donahue got President's Scholarship from University of Dayton in 1984. He also got Robert Woodruff Fellow in Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine in 1989.
