Dr. Scott Wedgwood Wolfe, M.D., is a hand, orthopedic, and plastic surgery expert from New York. He completed his medical education at Cornell University Medical College. Later, he also completed his surgical residency at Roosevelt Hospital and his orthopedic residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He also completed a hand and microsurgery fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center.
Currently, Dr. Wolfe is an upper extremity surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He is also a professor of orthopedic surgery, hand surgery, and nerve repair at Weill Cornell Medical College. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He also served as Chief of Hand Surgery at Yale University. He specialises in the wrist, specifically scaphoid surgery, distal radius fractures, wrist fractures, nonunions, Dupuytren’s disease, nerve repair, and nerve reconstruction.
