He then pursued his internship in Preliminary General Surgery and his first residency in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Albert Einstein Medical Center at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also pursued his second residency in Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery and his third residency in Hand Surgery from the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children and the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Hand Rehabilitation Center at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  He further pursued his fellowship in Hand & Microvascular Surgery from the Mayo Clinic at Rochester, Minnesota. Currently, Dr. Kozin is an Associate Professor at the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery of the Temple University, School of Medicine and a Hand Surgeon at the Shriners Hospital for Children at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also the Chief of Staff at the Shriners Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha, Honor Medical Society. He also has numerous publications to his credit. He was honored multiple times in the America's Top Doctors (book series), Philadelphia Magazine and America's Top Doctors (digital guide) by Castle Connolly.
