Dr. Scott A. Guelcher Ph.D., M.S., B.S. is a engineering expert witness who specialises in biomedical engineering, based in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated with a B.S. in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, VA in 1992, followed by a M.S. degree in chemical engineering in 1996. He then earned his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA in 1999. He then received his post-doctoral fellowship from the Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, Department of Biomedical Engineering in 2005. Currently he is the associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the Vanderbilt University. He is a member of Member, American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE), Society for Biomaterials (SFB), Interdisciplinary Research Society for Bone and Joint Injectable Biomaterials (GRIBOI), American Chemical Society (ACS) and the Cancer and Bone Society. He has a number of publications to his credit.
