Dr. Scott Thomas Acton, Ph.D. is a computer engineering expert witness from Virginia. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 1988 from Virginia Tech and then earned his Master of Science in 1990 and his Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering in 1993 from the University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Dr. Acton is the Chair and Professor of Electrical & Computer Engineering as well as the Director of Virginia Image and Video Analysis Laboratory at the University of Virginia. Prior to this, he was the faculty of Oklahoma State University.
