Dr. Samuel Abbe Berkman, M.D., F.A.C.P. is an oncology expert witness from California. He also has expertise in hematologic oncology. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of California and is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He completed his medical degree in 1971 from the Tufts University School of Medicine. He then completed his internship in 1972 and residency in 1974 from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles, California. He then pursued his fellowship in Hematology in 1976 from the University of California, Los Angeles. He further pursued his fellowship in Medical Oncology in 1978 from the National Institutes Health, Bethesda, Maryland. Currently, Dr. Berkman is a clinical professor of medicine at the University of California of Los Angeles, Medical Centre. He has numerous publications to his credit. He received the Outstanding Clinical Faculty Teacher Award in 1986 from the University of California Department of Medicine, Los Angeles. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and also a member of American Medical Association, American Society of Hematology, American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Association of Blood Banks.
