A committed leader and community member, Sheriff Spurling is actively involved in local volunteer efforts, including coaching, teaching martial arts, and serving in community groups and church services. His military service includes time with the U.S. Marine Corps (1984-1988) and the U.S. Army Reserves (1988-2005), where he was called into active duty during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Sheriff Spurling’s extensive law enforcement experience, leadership, and community involvement make him a valuable asset to Mason County and a respected expert in his field.
