Dr. Ronald Webster West Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist expert witness from Virginia. He completed his undergraduate education from the University of Maine at Orono, Maine where he obtained a major in psychology in the year 1959 and then completed M. A. with major in experimental psychology in 1962, from Louisiana State University at Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He further completed his Ph.D. in 1964 also from Louisiana State University. Dr. West Ph.D. is president of Hollins Communications Research Institute (HCRI), a national stuttering research center he founded in 1972. Additionally, he is a Professor of Psychology (Emeritus) at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia. Dr. West serves as an adviser on the application of learning principles to training, as well as a reviewer, featured speaker and researcher.
