He completed his B.A. in 1968 from the Goshen College at Goshen, Indiana and then earned his M.D. in 1972 from the Indiana University School of Medicine at Indianapolis, Indiana. He then pursued his residency in pediatrics from the Bridgeport Hospital at Bridgeport, Connecticut in affiliation with Yale University. He further pursued his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation from the St. Francis Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Mercy Hospital, D.T. Watson Rehabilitation Hospital, and Rehabilitation Institute of Pittsburgh at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He also completed various other training and studies. Currently, he is the medical director of MD Diagnostic Specialists at Maitland, Florida and also a staff physiatrist at the Palm Beach Sports Medicine at West Palm Beach, Florida.
