Mr. D’Aunoy’s work includes preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development, and final construction estimates; cost analysis; feasibility studies; and labor and material quantification. He prepares virtual estimates for opinions of probable construction cost and conducts forensic reviews of construction documents for mediation, depositions, and trial. His experience also includes research and analysis of construction materials, product evaluation, and quality assurance and quality control document review, including work related to Hurricane Harvey (2017).
He has performed services for public and governmental entities including the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the General Services Administration, the Housing Authority of New Orleans, and the State of Louisiana, as well as private commercial, industrial, and residential clients. In 2007, he was certified in Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans as a construction estimator and consultant and has provided expert witness services in state and federal litigation.
