Robert Allen Zimmerman

Dr. Robert Allen Zimmerman, M.D., is a radiology expert witness from Pennsylvania. He also has expertise in neuroradiology. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of Pennsylvania and is certified by the American Board of Radiology. He completed his B.A. in 1960 from the Temple University at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and then earned his M.D., Summa Cum Laude in 1964 from the Georgetown University School of Medicine at Washington, D.C.. He then pursued his internship in Medicine from the Georgetown University Hospital at Washington, D.C., he further pursued his residency in Radiology and fellowship in Special Procedures from the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He also served the military with the U.S. Army in Europe from 1969 to 1972. Currently, Dr. Zimmerman is the Emeritus Professor CE of Radiology of the Department of Radiology at the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Medicine at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He is also a physician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is the member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor Medical Society. He was the recipient of the 2002 American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology Special Recognition Award and the 2012 American Society of Neuroradiology Outstanding Contributions in Research Award. He also has numerous publications to his credit.
