Dr. Robert Vincent O'Toole III, M.D. is an orthopedic surgery expert witness from Maryland. He completed his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University. He also earned M.D. from Harvard Medical School. He further completed his internship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, Harvard Medical School and his residency at Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program. He then completed his fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical System, R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. Dr. O'Toole has a physician's license from the state of Maryland and is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Currently, Dr. O'Toole is the Hansjörg Wyss Medical Foundation Professor of Orthopaedic Trauma and the Vice-Chair for Research in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. He also practices at Ortho Shock Trauma UMH.
