He is a Attending Staff, Department of Anesthesiology at INOVA Fairfax Hospital Falls Church, Virginia in 1988. He held the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesia at University of Vermont College of Medicine from 1984 to 1986. He served the United States Army for around 15 years. He is a member of Society for Pediatric Anesthesia, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Medical Society, Society for Cardiovascular Anesthesia, Fairfax County Medical society, Society for Pediatric Anesthesia and American Society of Anesthesiology. He is licensed to practice medicine in the State of Virginia. He has authored and co-authored numerous publications relating to his medical discipline.
