Thereafter, he completed his General Surgery Residency Program in 1997 and Diagnostic Radiology Residency Program in 2001 from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Then, he completed Vascular and Interventional Radiology Residency Program in 2002 and Masters of Science Health Care Delivery Leadership (MHCDL)Healthcare Delivery Leadership from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has NY State Medical License and he is also certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Currently, Dr Lookstein is an Executive Vice Chairman in The Department of Diagnostic, Molecular, and Interventioal Radiology for the Mount Sinai Health System. Prior to this, he was the System Vice Chair for Interventional Services as well as Division Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology. He was also the Assistant Editor for the American Journal of Roentgenology.
