Robert Gary Josephberg

Dr. Robert Gary Josephberg, M.D. is an ophthalmology expert witness from New York. His area of expertise also includes retina, macular degeneration, endo-phthalmitis, diabetic retinopathy, retinal detachments, retina and vitreous and uveitis specialist, floaters, laser and vitrectomy. He has medical practitioner’s licenses from the states of New York and New Jersey. He is also certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He completed his primary and secondary schooling from the Roosevelt High School at Yonkers, New York. He completed his B. S. in 1972 from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, Wisconsin and then earned his M.D. in 1976 from the Albany Medical College at Albany, New York. He then completed his internship in Straight Medicine and his residency in Ophthalmology from the Memorial Hospital at Worchester, Massachusetts and the College of Medicine and Dentistry at the Newark Eye and Ear Infirmary at Newark, New Jersey respectively. He also completed his training in Basic Science from the Wills Eye Hospital of Columbia University in 1977. He further completed his fellowship in Retina and Vitreous in 1982 from the Baylor College of Medicine at Houston, Texas. Currently, Dr. Josephberg is the Associate Clinical Professor at the New York Medical College and the Assistant Clinical Professor of both Robert Wood Johnson and the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences. He is also the Chief of Retina at the Westchester Medical Center at Valhalla, New York.
