He has held numerous academic positions, including Professor and Interim Dean at the University of Georgia, and has been a visiting scholar at prestigious institutions in Germany and Austria. Additionally, he has served in leadership roles in various organizations, including as a Director at Grange Insurance and Global Energy Resource Insurance Company. Dr. Hoyt has a notable career in both academia and professional practice, with expertise in risk management, insurance, and actuarial science.
