Dr. Robert Frank Bernstein M.D. is a critical care medicine expert witness from California. He completed his A.B. in Chemistry and Liberal Arts in 1965 from the University of Pennsylvania. He then completed M.S. and Ph.D. in Biochemistry in 1971 from Penn State University. He further completed his post-doctoral work at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Bernstein also completed his M.D. in Medicine and Surgery in 1977 from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and then completed his Masters of Public Health in Health Services Research & Administration in 1979 from the Johns Hopkins University. He further completed his residency at Johns Hopkins University. He has a physician's license from the state of California and is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Bernstein is the Adjunct Associate Professor at the Hubert Department of Global Health, Rollins School of Public Health, Emory University. He is also the Medical Consultant of the California Department of Public Health.
