Robert Harry Allen, Ph.D., P.E., M.S., B.S. is a biomedical engineering expert witness from Maryland. He has a professional engineering license from the state of Maryland, Delaware, Texas and California. He completed his B.E in Engineering Science in 1977 from the State University of New York, Stony Brook and earned his Master of Science in Engineering in 1978 from the University of California, Berkeley, California. He also completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Civil Engineering in 1984 from the Camegie-Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, Allen is a research associate of the University of Maryland and an associated consultant at the Romualdi, Davidson & Associates, Inc. He is also a research assistant professor at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University since 2018. He was a staff engineer at the Simpson Gumpertz & Heger Inc. for the years of 1978 to 1980. He received the Charles Martin Hall award in 1985 from the Aluminum Association, Washington, District of Columbia. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Biomedical Engineering Society and Society for Simulation in Healthcare.
