He also earned his M.D. in 1984 from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of the Columbia University at New York City, New York. He then completed his internship in surgery in 1985 and his residency in Surgery in 1988 from the Mount Sinai Medical Center at New York City, New York. He also served as the Chief Resident from 1988 to 1989 at the Mount Sinai Medical Center. Currently, Dr. Aldoroty is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine at New York City, New York. Dr. Aldoroty also maintains his private practice at New York City, New York. He has numerous publications to his credit.
