Dr. Robbin G. Cohen is an Associate Professor of Surgery from Los Angeles, California. He has experience in general surgery, vascular surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, and heart and lung transplantation. He has an active medical practitioner’s license from the state of California. He has experience of more than 20 years. Dr. Cohen completed his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed all of his surgical training at Stanford University Hospital. He has held leadership positions in the American Association for Thoracic Surgery, Society of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Cohen has also served as Vice-Chairman for Clinical Affairs for the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Co-Director of the USC Lung Transplant program, and Co-Director of the Aortic Center at USC. He has won numerous teaching awards, and has written extensively and lectured worldwide on adult cardiac surgery, lung transplantation, and minimally invasive heart and lung surgery. He is affiliated with Keck Hospital of USC and USC Norris Cancer Hospital. His one of the biggest achievement is that he is one of four selected nationwide for study immunohistochemistry in the staging of lung cancers and for that he was recently awarded a large grant from the American College of Surgeons.
