Bare served as a Judge in the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County, Nevada, from January 2011 through January 2021, presiding over both civil and criminal matters. He was initially elected in 2010 and re-elected in 2014. Prior to that role, he served as a Judge in the Las Vegas Municipal Court in 2007, handling criminal cases following a unanimous appointment. 

He has been admitted to practice in multiple jurisdictions, including Nevada, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada, the United States Supreme Court, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

His background reflects experience in trial-level judicial decision-making across both civil and criminal proceedings.
