He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Levy currently serves as a flight crew training instructor for the Boeing 737 at Southwest Airlines. Prior to this, he had a distinguished 41-year career with American Airlines, where he flew a wide range of aircraft including the B-727, DC-10, B-757/767, and B-777, serving in roles from flight engineer to captain. His earlier experience includes military service in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, where he flew T-37, T-38, and C-130 aircraft and earned the Air Training Command Commander’s Trophy. Mr. Levy began flying at age 14 and quickly advanced through private, commercial, and airline transport certifications. He also has experience as a charter pilot and flight instructor.
