He is also an active medical license holder in Florida and holds a DEA License.
Since 1990, Dr. Konsens has practiced as an orthopedic surgeon at the Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic. He has also served as a consultant for knee replacement with Johnson & Johnson Professional and as a Special Expert Witness for the State of Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration. Additionally, he holds academic positions as an Associate Clinical Professor at both Florida State University and the University of Central Florida School of Medicine. Dr. Konsens’s vast experience in both clinical practice and academic teaching, coupled with his involvement in orthopedic surgery consulting and expert witness work, makes him a leading expert in the field.
