Dr. Klopp completed his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 1981 from the Lehigh University and then completed his Sc.M. in Engineering in 1884 and his Sc.M. in Applied Mathematics in 1986 from Brown University. He further completed his Ph.D. in Engineering in 1986 from the same institute. He has a professional engineer's license from the states of California, Nevada, Michigan, Texas and Washington.
Currently, Dr. Klopp is the Principal Engineer at the Exponent. Prior to this, he was the Senior Engineer at SRI International.
