Dr. Richard K. Harper, Ph.D. is an economics expert witness from Florida. He completed his B.A. in Economics and Spanish in 1978 from the Guilford College, Greensboro, North Carolina and then earned his M.A. in Economics in 1986 from the Duke University. He then pursued his Ph.D. in Economics with specialization in Industrial Organization, International Trade and Public Choice in 1989 from the Duke University. Currently, Dr. Harper is an associate professor of the Department of Marketing and Economics at The University of West Florida. He was a visiting lecturer at the University Of North Carolina At Greensboro for the years 1988 to 1989 and also an assistant economist at the Research Triangle Institute, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina for the years 1979 to 1984. He has several publications to his credit. He is also a member of the Florida Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors since 2001.
